Powersports, Small-Engine & Electric Ride Services

Cache Moto is a repair-first shop in Cache Valley, Utah. Below is what we actually do day to day — on gas machines and electric ones. Every repair starts with an inspection so the estimate reflects the machine in front of us, not a guess over the phone.

Dirt Bike Repair, Maintenance & Tires

Two-stroke or four-stroke, trail bike or race bike, we handle the routine work and the problems that show up mid-season. If it won’t start, won’t idle, won’t hold power, or just hasn’t been touched in a few years, bring it in.

  • Diagnostics — no-start, hard-start, bogging, overheating, and running issues traced to the cause
  • Engine service — top-end work, piston and ring service, valve checks and adjustment, gaskets and seals
  • Fuel systems — carburetor cleaning, rebuild and jetting, fuel pumps, filters, and stale-fuel cleanups
  • Tires and tubes — tire changes, flat repair, tube and rim-lock replacement, wheel and bearing inspection
  • Chassis and controls — brakes, levers, cables, chains and sprockets, spokes, steering-head and linkage service
  • Upgrades — bars, grips, guards, lighting, gearing changes, and other bolt-on installs

Tell us how the bike is being ridden and we’ll set it up for that, whether that’s trail miles or a first bike for a kid.

ATV Repair, Service & Diagnostics

Four-wheelers take a beating in Cache Valley — mud, dust, cold starts, and long storage. We keep them going and sort out the electrical gremlins that come with age.

  • Routine maintenance — oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant, differential and gearcase fluids
  • Electrical diagnosis — no-crank and no-spark issues, charging systems, starters, switches, and wiring repair
  • Drivetrain — CV axles and boots, drive belts where applicable, chains, and 4WD engagement issues
  • Brakes and suspension — pads, rotors, bleeding, bearings, bushings, and shock inspection
  • Tires — mounting, balancing where applicable, puncture repair, and valve stems
  • Accessories — winches, racks, lighting, and plow-mount hardware installs

Coming out of storage? A pre-season checkover catches the small stuff before it strands you on the mountain.

Side-by-Side / UTV Repair & Maintenance

Side-by-sides get used hard and carry more people, so the maintenance matters more. We do the scheduled work and the bigger repairs that come with high hours.

  • Clutch and belt service — belt replacement, clutch cleaning and inspection, and diagnosis of belt-burn causes
  • Fluids and filters — engine oil, transmission and front/rear differential fluids, coolant, and filters
  • Cooling systems — radiator cleaning, fan and thermostat testing, and overheating diagnosis
  • Steering and suspension — tie rods, ball joints, A-arm bushings, shocks, and alignment inspection
  • Electrical and accessories — wiring repair, lighting, audio and accessory power, winches, and switch panels
  • Tires and wheels — mounting, repair, lug and hub inspection

Hauling a machine in? Call ahead so we can make room and give you a realistic turnaround.

Small-Engine Repair & Service

The same skills that fix a dirt bike fix most small engines. If it has a pull cord, a carburetor, and a bad attitude after sitting all winter, we can usually help.

  • Won’t-start diagnosis — fuel, spark, compression, and air checked in order instead of guessed at
  • Carburetor work — cleaning, rebuild kits, adjustment, and replacement when a rebuild isn’t worth it
  • Fuel systems — lines, filters, tanks, primer bulbs, and old-fuel cleanouts
  • Ignition — plugs, coils, kill switches, and flywheel key inspection
  • Starters and controls — recoil starter repair, throttle and choke linkage, and governor adjustment
  • General tune-ups — seasonal service to get equipment ready to run

Not sure if we work on your specific piece of equipment? Send a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

Electric

Electric Scooter Repair & Tire Work

Electric scooters are one of the most common things we see, and flats are the number-one reason they come in. We do tire and tube work, brake service, and electrical troubleshooting on adult commuter and performance scooters.

  • Flat tire repair and tire changes on both solid and pneumatic setups
  • Tube repair and replacement, including valve stems and rim tape
  • Tube-to-tubeless conversions when the wheel and tire are actually suited to it
  • Brake service — disc pads, rotors, drum brakes, cables, and hydraulic bleeds
  • Electrical diagnosis — no-power, cut-outs, error codes, connectors, throttles, and controllers
  • Charging-system checks and general maintenance

Electric

Electric Dirt Bike / E-Moto Service

Electric off-road bikes ride like dirt bikes and break like dirt bikes in most of the places that matter — tires, brakes, bearings, and controls — with an electrical side that needs a different approach. We work on both halves.

  • Tires and tubes, wheel service, and bearing inspection
  • Brake service — pads, rotors, bleeds, and lever and cable work
  • Electrical diagnosis — wiring, connectors, throttles, controllers, and intermittent faults
  • Charging-system checks and battery-condition observations
  • Routine maintenance — chains, sprockets, suspension service, and fastener checks
  • Upgrades — common bolt-on parts and performance-related installs where parts are available

Machines we commonly see include Talaria, E Ride Pro, Arctic Leopard Pro, Falcon Pro, and similar electric off-road bikes. Full e-moto service details →

Parts Sourcing, Upgrades & Select Machines

Part of the job is finding the right part. We help source components for the machines we service, install upgrades, and occasionally have machines available.

  • Parts sourcing for gas and electric machines, including harder-to-find electric components
  • Upgrade installs — tires, controls, lighting, guards, gearing, and other common bolt-ons
  • Select machines and parts for sale — what’s on hand changes; call or text to ask

Availability varies. Some parts are quick, some take time, and a few aren’t available at all. We’ll tell you which one you’re dealing with before you commit to a repair.

How service works here

No mystery process. Three steps.

1. Tell us what it’s doing

Call, text, or send the quote form. Machine type, make, model, year, and a short description of the problem. Photos and video of the symptom help a lot.

2. We inspect it

The machine gets looked at before anything is quoted. You get the findings, the options, and what each one involves — in plain language.

3. You decide, we fix it

Work happens after you approve it. If something else turns up mid-repair, we stop and call you rather than adding it to the bill.

Not sure which category your machine falls under?

Call or text a photo. If it’s something we can help with, we’ll say so. If it isn’t, we’ll say that too.
